Copenhagen: Copenhagen St.Mary’s Youth Association along with Jacobite Syrian Congregation in Copenhagen and All Malayalees in Denmark celebrated X’mas on 19th of December 2009 in the seminar Hall of DTU University. The traditional Kerala dishes and cultural programmes made this event more colourful and joyful.

With the permission of H.B.Baselious Thomas First Catholicose, the first Holy Mass has been celebrated here on 18th of October 2009. By the able leadership of Rev. Fr.Eldhose Vattaparambil, founder Vicar of the church, our church as well as our Youth Association began to grow within this short period of time. On the occasion of the inauguration of the Church, Mr.Henrich Edner, General Secretary of the Europe Mission in Denmark, was the Chief guest and he extended his best wishes expressing that the church might be a destination for all the malayalees coming to Denmark and a prestigious congregation to the Jacobite Syrian Community and a model for other Christian Churches and Communities in Denmark.

Rev.Fr.Fabriso Milaso, Vicar of St.Theresas Church, Copenhagen, was our Chief Guest of the Christmas Celebration on 19th December, 2009. He gave us a good Christmas Message and promised his whole hearted support for all the activities of the church. On that auspicious occasion, Mr. Babu Jacob, Trustee of the Church, Mr.Renju Korath, Co-Ordinator of the Anthyokka Viswasa Samrakshana Samithi, Mr.Sherin Scaria, Youth Association Secretary, Dr.Susan Basil, Vanitha Samajam Secretary and Mrs. Liya Eldhose, Prayer Cell Coordinator conveyed their felicitations and Mr.Basil Uthuppu, Secretary of the Church, delivered the Vote of Thanks.
